Poem 009 – Free

Free (adjective) – not or no longer confined or imprisoned

O’er misty peaks we flew with sphinx,

Down craters deep, up mountains steep,

 Gliding, riding, high and free.

Above those rocky roads so thin,

 Tasting springs, singing hymns,

By flowers green, white, aubergine.

Round unbound by sandy ground,

So pitch black, tinted ashen brown.
